And a teensy bit apprehensive.
I know it's ridiculous, but the tiniest slice of nervousness greeted me when I woke up this morning.
I don't know anyone. I don't speak the language in any meaningful way. I have no idea how to get from one place to another.
I'm gonna go all Mary Tyler Moore, though, and make it after all.

You'll be fine! In fact, you'll be better than fine! The instant you get there, you'll have your school peeps greeting you. Should you need it, give me a text / call / e-mail and I will Google-map and Babblefish for you on my end. :)
Have a blast! Be glad you are not at work.
Have a wonderful time! I'm living vicariously through you and others who get to go overseas. :)
Bon voyage! Make sure to update your blog.
Wie Gehts!
In my experience almost everyone I encountered in German cities spoke at least some English. The kids our age were mostly fluent and the younger ones made fun of our outdated slang. You'll be fine!
One piece of advice...take extra deoderant. A stick of Secret is hard to come by in Deutchland.
Have all kinds of fun!

Have an awesome trip! I'd tell you to take lots of pictures, but I know better.
